Calling all Santas and Little Helpers! It’s the Downham Market Santa Fun Run

Santa Fun RunOn Sunday 24th November 2013 Downham Market will be celebrating the turning on of its Christmas Lights.

As part of the fun there will be a Santa Fun Run through the streets of Downham Market – and we are calling on any potential Santa Clauses to come forward and get involved!

3pm: Race begins from the Town Square
4:30pm: Lights On Ceremony

Downham Market Santa Fun Run

The race course is a one-mile lap of the town. Adult entry is £8 or £5 if you are under 13 and proceeds will go towards West Norfolk Dyspraxia.

Downham VolunteersWe’re also putting out a call for Santa’s Little Helpers (a.k.a. volunteer safety marshals) to make sure everyone stays safe on the day! Sign up with the Downham Volunteers and you’ll be sent more information about how you can help.

The Santa Fun run has been organised by Councillor Charlie Pyatt on behalf of the Jubilee Community Centre, and is supported by the Town Council, Winning Ways and Ryston Runners.
