Downham Market High Street is temporarily closed and emergency vehicles are on site, as an accident involving a male driver and a Toyota Yaris has recently taken place.
Eye witness Harry Rattan from Anglia Compter Shop said “The car must have hit the shop and bounced back into the road. I came out and the driver had stopped breathing. Minutes later the police and ambulance were on site, I think he s breathing again now.”
It seems that the air ambulance took the unidentified man to hospital after landing on the Howdale. His current condition is unknown.
