2014 DOWNHAM ART TRAIL

Framin’ Artists!

For the first time, and marking the 20th anniversary of the Norwich and Norfolk Open Studios event, nine local artists will be exhibiting in three locations linked by the Downham and Denver Art Trail.  Ceramics by Becka Elliott and illustrations by Izzy Wingham will be on show in the Framin’Art Gallery alongside pen and ink work by Andy Scordellis and mosaics by Sue Welfare.  A pleasant walk or a short drive will take you to Denver Mill where you will be able to see paintings by Elizabeth Fitzgerald Carter and Julie Spriggs, textiles by Sarah Burt and jewellery by silversmith Catherine Downes.  In nearby Ryston, Perri Nichols will be opening her garden studio to visitors for demonstrations and an exhibition of ceramic art.  There is also a programme of free art events and workshops taking place in the Framin’Art classroom and the chance to win a £20 gift voucher by taking part in the Framin’Art treasure trail.
