Saturday, 3rd November 2012, to celebrate Bonfire Night The Downham & District Round Table will be putting on their usual Gala Fireworks Display in Denver village. Gates open: 5:30pm

Display commences: 7pm
Entry: Ryston Road, Denver (just passed the church) Adults £5, Under-16 £2.50, Under-5 FREE
Plenty of parking available The Guy Fawkes entertainment evening will comprise a three storey bonfire and two spectacular firework displays conducted by White Lightning Pyrotechnics. Gates open form 5.30pm, with a number of food stalls including the Round Table burger, hot dogs and hot drinks stand. There will also be fun arenas such as Quasar Laser, fair ground style rides, Guy judging competition and a disco. Entrance fee £5.00 per adult and £2.50 for under 16’s. Under 5s go FREE. Fireworks Display Raising Money for Downham Market Charitable Causes Not only will the Fireworks Display be lots of fun for everyone who attends, but it is for a great cause too, as money raised is distributed by the Round Table to various local community groups. Last year The Round Table donated over £6,000 to local community groups and charitable causes. Those who received Round Table Grants in 2011 included:

£1,000 to the Scouts for a much needed new kitchen at their HQ,
£1,000 to the Army Cadets,
£1,000 to the Air Cadets for equipment and activity weekends,
£1,000 to Blood Bikes,
£500 to the Brownies for a trip to London,
£500 to Denver Youth Club for organised trips/events and
£500 to Denver School.

Cheque being presented to the Blood Bike team by The Downham & District Round Table Over the years donations have also been made to Downham Market Doctors Surgery for a lift, equipment and machinery to Riding for the Disabled at Wallington Hall, school trips abroad, Papworth Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital for premature babies and Paralympics’ athletes. So dig out your bobble hats and scarves, wrap up warm and support your local community! We’ll see you there!
