This year it’s the Ruby Anniversary – marking 40 years of festivals, and this year, there’s a Carnival theme! The festival promises a week of music, food and entertainment including the traditional Howdale Parade Day on bank holiday Monday.
The Parade will take place on Monday 26th May, starting at 10:45am and will progress through the town centre before arriving at The Howdale. Now over half a mile long, the parade will be led by an impressive steel band – loudly leading the Carnival theme procession of floats, decorated vehicles and walking entries. The mayor and members of the Town Council will be in the parade this year – showing their support.
Tuesday 27th and Friday 30th – St Edmunds Church will be open for you to climb the tower!
Friday 30th – Family Disco in the Town Hall By Ian’s Roadshow – music for all ages!
