Congratulations to the Downham Market in Bloom team! Downhamweb has just learnt that Downham Market has been awarded a Silver Gilt Award in the Anglia in Bloom 2012 Competition. A Silver Gilt Award is actually higher than a Silver Award and according to Anglia in Bloom represents: “a high standard entry which meets nearly all the judging criteria and includes sections of incredibly high standards.”
Unlike the other ‘local’ papers which are owned by big businesses, downhamweb has always been owned and run by local people in Downham Market. Our reporting will always be free without paywalls, independent from advertisers and run for the benefit of the community.
