Last Friday Downhamweb had the chance to pop along down to Wimbotsham Primary School for the ‘My Favourite Summer Moment’ photo competition.
The competiton encouraged pupils to take part, entering a photo they had taken over the summer holidays, at £1 per entry, to raise money for new school equipment for the playground, each year group winner was awarded a £5 prize and the over all winner took the top prize of the photo shoot, kindly supported by Mr Bee’s Photo Shop of Downham Market.
Tea and cakes were on offer to the parents, who came along to view the winners of the competition.
Treasurer Paula James said “I thought it would be a both great and popular subject for the kids as everyone could to participate and have a good time”.
The competition was very tough to judge as every pupil entered such excellent pictures!
