With the site being up and down constantly this past month we have been struggling to get news updates out, so we apologize for this inconvenience, however, Christmas amongst lots of other festive fun is just around the corner and we can’t wait to have a cracking time leading up on into the new year.
We’d like to hope everyone has also had a great time thus far and been getting involved in things such as the big light switch-on which happened on November 27th, and of course the hilarious Santa fun run (If you haven’t heard about any of this click here!). There was also the great KL.FM Toy Appeal where Father Christmas visited Tescos in Downham Market on December 6th, and of course let’s not also forget about the Jimmy Jemain & The Knight s Shadows Christmas concert too, which too provided a great time.
The Christmas build up isn’t over just yet though, tomorrow on the 17th December (Saturday) from 11am until 2pm The Magpie Centre at Runcton Holme will be hosting a very festive event! Santa will arrive at noon in a horse drawn carriage to thrill the waiting audience. In addition there will be a Western Riding Display, a carriage driving demonstration and a display of horse whispering techniques. Highlight of the day will be a drill ride to music performed by the disabled riders from the centre. The raffle will feature a Free Riding Lesson as the star prize with several other prizes to be won… Tickets are £10 each, and the children’s ticket includes a present from Santa. Sounds like a ton of fun! And if you would like to read more on the event click here to be taken to our calender where you can view all upcoming events.
Last but not least is the SAS Christmas Club. From December 19th to 23rd the Christmas Club will be open at the Howdale Community Centre from 9.00AM to 3.00PM. Sports, Dance, Games, Activities, Competitions, Christmas Party & Presents for Boys & Girls aged 5-12. Entry is £10 per day or pay £40 for five days
We hope that everyone has a wonderful and festive Christmas time and a fun-filled new year.
