Last year, Framin’Art, your local art materials retailer and framing service, hosted an exhibition of mosaic work by four local people, namely Sarah Allen, Becka Elliott, Cathie Fiddling and Sue Welfare entitled “Grout Expectations”. Due to its success, they are returning with their Grout British Mosaic Exhibition.
Using basically the same technique, these artists arrive at very different destinations. They all use upcycled, donated or broken raw materials but take their inspiration from a range of sources to produce incredibly varied results from the abstract to the intricately representational.
The exhibition is running from 18th July to 14th August and will be open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. Admission is free.
