Local Business supporting Serv Blood Bikes

Arbuckles, The Downham Market Restaurant, Have donated £500 to the charity Serv, who run a vital Blood Bike service ran by Volunteers.

The Charity, SERV, provide the facilities and resources which allows their volunteer members to deliver this vital service – a Rapid Response Medical Transport Service.

SERV transport urgently needed medical items which can include anything Blood, Blood Products, Biological samples, Vaccines to Medical Notes, X-Rays, Scans & Donor Breast Milk.

The service runs to Hospitals out of hours and is free of charge to the NHS. The charity is run entirely by volunteers who receive no compensation for their time or costs and the charity also receives no funding from the Government
