Bake a Cake for National Black Cat Day

Cats Protection Downham Market are holding a cake baking contest to celebrate National Black Cat Day.

Black Cat Cake Baking CompetitionThey are looking for cakes to represent what black cats mean to you. Entry is free, and all cakes will be sold by Cats Protection to raise money for the cats in their care.

There are 3 categories:

  1. Best Flavour
  2. Best Design / Presentation and
  3. Best Junior Baker (Under 12yrs).

Each cake should be accompanied by list of ingredients, for allergy sufferers.

Judging will take place at Cats Protection Downham Market as part of their Black Cat Day celebrations on Saturday 29th October.

As well as a chance to show off your baking skills, there will also be a children’s black cat fancy dress competition, raffle, tombola, bouncy castle and ball pool (subject to weather). And of course you will have the chance to meet all of the charity’s fabulous black (and other coloured) cats who are all looking for their forever home.
